double checked the MAC addresses were still correct for each NAS, also no ethernet cables have been touched.

What local IP address(es) is RAIDar showing?
Did you try rebooting the router and the two NAS?

Did you try rebooting the router and the two NAS? Yes, more than once.
Surprised I can't find anyone in the forum with this issue, it's happened to me more than once over the years.
