RN314: USB Boot order in BIOS not saved + ACPI and USB3 not working
Hello,
I have a RN314 that I want to use as a regular computer.
I installed a linux distrib on a USB3.0 key. It works, however I have several issues with this:
1- The BIOS does not save the boot order I setup in order to boot from the key: the booting option reverts to default values on the next reboot and the device loads ReadyNAS OS.
2- ACPI does not seem fully functional as I can't get the device going to suspend mode
3- The USB devices are only mounted in USB2.0 mode, not USB3.0.
#2 and #3 could be related to the Linux distrib itself but I would really appreciate some help for #1 as I could not find any way in the BIOS to always boot from the USB key.

I think that's the latest BIOS. A bit unsure which way around month and day is in that date. With that BIOS the system is configured to automatically boot off a NTGR USB service key such as one created for USB Boot Recovery if it finds one each boot or otherwise boot normally. Sent you a PM.

What's the date of the bios in bios_ver.log (from the logs downloaded in ReadyNAS OS)? The date of the BIOS is also briefly seen on the screen on boot if you hook up a HDMI display, which is an alternative way to check. You could also check it using e.g. dmidecode or possibly dmesg on the 3rd party OS.
