Netgear has never said what the latest BIOS is or how to upgrade if yours isn't the latest. That's the case with all OS6 native ReadyNAS.
The BIOS doesn't normally adjust the fan speed, the OS does. OS6 uses a modified version of lm_sensors.
- RedlikemethodzMar 26, 2025GuideThanks! My RN3220's fans keep pulsing its rpms up and down and hover around 2200rpm. I'm trying to lower the fan speed and keep the fans steady. I can access the RN3220.conf sensors file and min fan speed is already set to 400.
- RedlikemethodzMar 26, 2025GuideI also have access to the BIOS but dropping the ATP 1 from 50 to 30 didn't do anything.

Try adding a hysteresis. I found that helped on my converted RD5200, which suffered a similar problem (while, oddly, my RN4200V2, which has the same motherboard, didn't).
