rn42200 fails to boot
I have a RN42200 with two brand new WD2002003FZEX drives installed. I am unable to gett them to initialize./fomat and I've tried to up date the OS too. In both cases the LED screen goes from Netgear ...

Start by removing the disks and powering up. Then see if RAIDar sees the NAS with a "no disks status".https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads#raidar
Also, connect the disks to a windows PC (either with SATA or with a USB adapter/dock) and try testing them with Western Digital's Lifeguard utility.
If you are the original purchaser, you have 90 day phone support (via my.netgear.com). Use that if you have it.

If RAIDar still cannot detect the NAS even if there are no disks inserted, there is a possibility that the chassis is faulty.If you are the original purchaser, you may contact our support for the warranty replacement.
