RN516 could not mount root raid and boot menu does not work
Running os 6.5.1
since upgrading to 6.5.0 i started getting random crashes every few days. after upgrading to 6.5.1 it became a daily occurence. after manually rebooting the nas last night i began getting an error that it could not mount the root raid. i then tried going to the boot menu to reinstall the os but one of two things happen. 1. the boot menu appears but i am not able to scroll through the items because the arrows are not lit up and do nothing. 2. i am able to select reinstall but the system gets stuck on checking root fs.
All of my data is backed up and i am happy to do a factory reset if possible but i cant do it through the boot menu. is there another option? im also willing to do the usb flash boot option but thought i would ask around before giving it a try.
thanks

You can zero or unformat the disks, and then the NAS should do a factory install.
Or contact support.
