Yes you can move to the latest firmware direct. So you just have the 2 3TB disks installed? For that your space looks right. You'd by default (unless you selected otherwise in RAIDar on setup) have 10GB reserved for snapshots. There would of course be overheads etc. and a 4GB OS partition.
