RNDU2000 - When I click on Browse, I get sent to OneDrive

I have had this device over 10 years.  It is currently working on my old Windows 11 PC.  I bought a new PC with Windows 11.

On the new PC, I can run RAIDar 6.5.0.  Locate causes the lights to blink, so RAIDar can find it.  When I click on Browse, I get a File Explorer window showing the documents folder on my OneDrive!?

I do not see my "backup" folder (where all my data is) under "This PC" on my new PC, but I can on my old PC.  I can find the device under "Network" on my new PC.  My new PC is ethernet connected to my router.

My firmware is 4.2.28.  I know there are upgrades for both available, but that doesn't seem to be working either.

I am moderately technical, but it's been a looong time since I looked at the guts of anything and it was mostly mainframe.  I don't need a seeing eye dog, but may need some explanation about how to actually implement a suggestion.

Can anyone help me get my Netgear and my new PC talking to each other?  Thanks in advance.

First, go into "turn windows features on or off" and enable the SMB 1.0/CIFS client on the PC.

Then enter \\nas-ip-address (substituting the real IP address) in the Windows Explorer address bar.  Make sure you use the correct slash direction - the wrong one will open your browser, which is not what you want.

      StephenB,

It worked!  It turns out I already had SMB 1.0/CIFS enabled.  What I was missing was using File Explorer to access the folders instead of browsers.  Thank you.
