rsync path limitation?
The first time trying to set up rsync between two NAS on a local network. Should be easy but am running into problems. Want to backup a Pro6 to a NVX. The Pro6 is assigned a static IP address of 19...
Your path names should be working.
-what subnet mask are you using on the Pro6 and NVX?
-Maybe also try \\192.168.1.101\tst and \\192.168.1.102\tst from a windows PC to make sure you can get there (that assumes CIFS is enabled for tst).
-you can try entering the pro admin credentials in the nvx backup job (and vice versa)
-Sometimes "test connection" fails but the actual backup does not. So maybe try running it, and see if you get the same result.
