rsync path limitation?
The first time trying to set up rsync between two NAS on a local network. Should be easy but am running into problems. Want to backup a Pro6 to a NVX. The Pro6 is assigned a static IP address of 19...
Yes, rsync is enabled on both devices. In my FrontView RAIDiator 4.2.24 this is at the bottom of the 'Standard File Protocols' under Services (for you it is under network?).
Yes, it does appear under the share listing (I'd post a screenshot but it doesn't seem to work here.)
I'll try different things under advanced options when I get home later.
Given that it is specific to a particular Path there must be something with the share I'm identifying. I think it is identical but I'll double check all settings. Sure wish the Browse button worked so it could just go to the host and find out what options are available.
