Rsync to Freenas

Sorry for my lack of communications, have been struck down with illness, but on the mend. I have good news, I made a new share, and have rather then set it up with rsync, have set the backup job to copy to a windows server (CIFS) and have had two nights of test data backup correctly.
At the end of the day im looking to back the data up automatically, and im not that bothered by the protocol that is used to do it :) Im going to continue to do some test backups nightly to see how it all pans out, and next weekend I will move all my data from the current home share to this new share and then watch it all backup.
Its looking like we have got it working thanks to your great knowledge :).
I shall keep you posted over the next few days / at the weekend and let you know how it goes, but a million thankyous for your time and ideas and perseverance with once again helping me solve a problem.
