Should I worry about SATA ?
I'm thinking of adding capacity to my 2009 ReadyNAS NV+ which came with two 500GB Seagate drives, which have - and are - working perfectly.
I'm thinking of 2 more 500GB drives.
There are plenty of drives avaiable, mostly SATA II. Will these work with the existing drives ? There is no indication on the labels on the back of these indicating what kind of SATA they are ! THey just say "Pipeline HD .2"
Any advice gratefully received.

- dbott67GuideSATA II disks will work fine, although they will only run at SATA I speeds - http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/does_the_readynas_support_sata_ii_hard_disks
Check the HCL for compatible disks: http://www.readynas.com/?page_id=82 - dbott67
