Smart Tv has stopped playing movies from my ReadyNas
HI, Last Night i wanted to watch a movie from my readyNas on my Samsung Smart Tv and it told me there were no movie files on the server, yet in my TV shows folder it showed all of those no problems....

Maybe try enabling ReadyDLNA on the share, and see if the Smart TV sees that.
Does your Samsung have a plex app? Or are you using the built-in DLNA client?

The Tv SEE's the Readyshare as it is showiing as a Readyshare Icon in the Input menu, but when i try to connect to it i get a message saying the action cannot be performed at this time. that was after i restarted the NAS unit. Before that it logged into the unit, saw the MOVIES folder and TV Shows folder, i could watch the TV shows, but when i went into movies folder to select one to watch it said there were no video files in the folder. yet Plex can see it and watch it ( using my Xbox One) i dont like the plex app on the tv as it is very slow compared to the xbox app.
I have tried updating them both on NAS and TV but still very slow

ReadySHARE icon? I was thinking the ReadyDLNA server on the NAS (which would need to be enabled for each share).
Did you also double-check the plex server settings, and see that the plex dlna server is enabled?

yes Readyshare icon, on my smart Tv when i select the input button on the remote, i have a icon that shows up that says ReadyShare NAS. thats how i have always accessed the movies etc. and it has always worked great. until last night

Does anything change if you disable the option, but keep ReadyDLNA enabled?
