Sony Blueray BDP-S370 not displaying MP4 avc files

I don't know why but I think that the matter is on your bluray player.

It seems that it should work. But if you look here:

that's the italian page (I'm italian) and it seems that in Italy mp4 is not supported with DLNA (Why?!).
I don't know what's your country and why it works on a DLNA server and not with another one, but It can be a starting point for your investigation.
