Split Raid On Netgear RND4000 ReadyNAS NV+ v2

Is it possible to have split RAID levels on Netgear RND4000 ReadyNAS NV+ v2?

I.e 2 x 1TB disks in a RAID 1 configuration and 2 x 3TB disks in a RAID 0 configuration

Thanks!!

  • Would it be possible to have two disks in a RAID 1 and another two disks which arent part of a RAID set?

If I only installed three disk's and choose RAID 1, what would happen to disk 3?

The NV+ v2 (charcoal chassis, runs RAIDiator 5.3.x) only supports the use of one RAID level at a time. For "no" RAID you would use a separate RAID-0 volume per disk, so it would still be use of two RAID levels (one for some volumes and another for other volumes).
