SSH Login using key pair
I am able to perform an SSH passord login to my ReadyNAS 314 from Terminal on my Mac by using: ssh root@myreadynas.lan.
However, I am unable to successfully login using a key pair. I generated a key pair using ssh-keygen, and properly uploaded the public key to the Admin account on my ReadyNas. SSH login is enabled (obviously), and I unchecked Password Login.
When I attempt to login with a key, SSH requests the passphrase for the key, after which the ReadyNAS rejects the key.
I've followed the procedures in this document, but am still unable to get an ssh key login to work.
I'm at firmware version 6.8.1. I'd appreciate suggestions from folks who have gotten an SSH key-pair login to work.

Did you generate a SSH2-RSA key using PuTTY?
What error message do you get?

Error message vaires. When using PuTTY from a Windows machine, I get "Server rejected our key." From my iMac, I get "Key rejected", or something like that. The ReadyNAS breaks the connection very quickly. I downloaded the logs and poked through them, but wasn't sure exactly where to look.
