Time machine wont recognize my drive since Yosemite Upgrade

I had the same problem and this solution fixed it. Thanks (but I don't understand why it worked!)
Another observation since Yosemite which is possibly related is that the name of the NAS changed from HomeNAS to homenas despite staying as HomeNAS in ReadyCLOUD. I would have thought that Time Machine wasn't case sensitive even though the ReadyNAS is Linux-based.
