Time machine wont recognize my drive since Yosemite Upgrade

Well it was happily working for a while... But now time machine won't see my NAS in the select backup list. System: Yosemite 10.10.2 on MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) ReadyNAS NVX Pionee...

Unfortunately the above solution wasn't a permanent fix. HomeNAS no longer appears in finder and Time Machine can't find the disk. Finder sees HomeNAS (SMB) and the shares. I can usually correct the problem by going in through Raidar, Selecting a Time Machine user, clicking on Settings then Apply (without changing anything). A solution would be much appreciated.
