TiVo(s) can not "see" ReadyNAS

Hello de niro - yes - actually, I installed "http://www.readynas.com/download/addons/x86/4.2/ReadyTiVo_1.3.9-x86.bin" - Still NO JOY. The TiVo contiues to be backed-up tp the ReadyNAS, but none of the programs, nor the ReadyNAS itself, appears on the TiVo's menu. I performed a Factory Default just this past Friday, kept the default settings [except for the TiVo DNLA settings], and only activated one TiVo to keep things as simple as possible.
I could just take an older system and build a Linux box, but it is getting to me a matter of principle now
