Transfer data to ReadyNAS 214 using spare bay

Another solution may be to install the 2TB drive into a spare Sata Port in your PC and transfer the data across your network using Windows/Mac.
If you have a 1GB network this would be quicker, you also need to have a backup regime in place for your NAS to another device (USB Drive/Cloud etc.)
Edit: The Goflex is either NTFS or Mac OS as far as I can tell
