Trouble finding USB-drive with Os6

Hi!

I have an ultra 4 with os6 installed.

When I add an external hard drive (USB 2.0 and ntfs file system) it does not find it.

Is this a problem with legacy hardware and os6?

The disk works perfect to my windows 7 computer.

Ps. I did not try it with os4 I'm afraid...

no, its in constant read since I am copying data to the NAS drive. There is no problem when I have it plugged into the router's usb port only the port on the NAS box
