Do you have full access to the files?
Is the system still in XRAID mode or has it changed to flexraid?

Thanks Stephen
Yes,
I can still access files. Apart from showing two raid groups all appears normal.
The button does not show green. I have to say I don't remember if it usually did. Pic atttached

Did you always have 10TB disks in the NAS since the last factory reset or did you start off with smaller capacity disks?

HI
No I had 6 x 4TB
Swapped them out 1 at a time to 10TB.
Althought I THOUGHT this only went wonky when I plugged in the EDA500 it's certainly possible I didn't notice I had two raid groups after the volume expanded. 4>10 disks. Thinking back, I was expecting the volume to resize when the last disk had been added but it expanded before that. I don't really remember but there was something strange.
I'm thinking I need to back up and do a factory reset. That would no doubt fix it. The only think against it is the time it takes to resync 6 disks
