Ultra 2 won't shutdown -- reboots instead
Hi, I just set up my Ultra2 last week with two Seagate ST2000DL003 disks, and I upgraded it with the newest firmware 4.2.21. I'm moving this weekend and suffering from a bizzare problem. I'm try...
No luck --- unplugging the ethernet cable while powering down didn't help. Reinstalling the OS didn't help either. My Netgear still won't shut down. :-/
(I have no USB devices connected. I could try moving it to another outlet, but I'd have to do an "ungraceful" shutdown... and then I might as well just unplug it and move it to my new apartment and worry about it later.)
Any other ideas?
