I have one question I hope someone can help me with before I begin cloning.
I have 2 disks to choose from for a target disk.
One is from the failed ReadyNAS resync so I'm sure there are some partitions on it.
The other is completely blank. It's not formatted. It's a virgin disk.
Does it matter which I use? Will Linux do a proper preparation to receive data from the damaged disk?
If I need to do the prep work I'm not sure what (or how) to do it.
I am struggling with understanding what Linux is telling me.
