Ultra Plus Upgrade from Beta 6.1.9 to Release 6.1.9
I just downloaded and rebooted the release firmware from the latest beta and the unit appears to be working away but it's not found on the network. My Wake On Lan utility reports it being offline. Should it take more than a few minutes to upgrade? If not, any suggestions?

- CharlesRGuideI just PMed you the code.
Thanks. If you like I could give you a phone number... just PM me. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDon't think I could see anything wrong apart from some issues that suggested there may be a network problem.
If it doesn't come up right perhaps we can try Teamviewer. - CharlesRGuideJust came up fine... looking around. From the log it appears it rebooted fine during the upgrade...

I presume using a fixed IP wouldn't matter... what type of network issue(s) did you see? If it would help in anyway I could retry the upgrade again... if it's perhaps a generic issue not unique to me.
And I much appreciate you taking a look! - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIt couldn't find the apt archive which sounds like a DNS or Gateway issue.

If it helps it has a fixed IP address off of a switch then a DD-WRT router (doing DHCP) which is connected to a Internet gateway/router.
I think I can handle your PM. Thanks again. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI probably should have suggested simply doing a reboot initially. When a NAS gets stuck during an upgrade sometimes a reboot fixes it.

It appears to be working great. Accessed it today for several hours without a issue. I appreciate you taking a look... hopefully I'll be getting a Pro before long. For some reason I enjoy playing around with these older models.
