Unable to access config menus on NV+
I have an old NV+ that has lain unused for a couple of years - I've powered it up and all seems well, I can access some old files in my share. When I open the webpage in Chrome (or IE) I get the IN...
I tried three different ones, two small of 128 and 256MB and a newer 2GB one with the same result.
The 4GB and 8GB ones I tried (being thorough here...) didn't get past an init USB message - no error, just stalled.
When I try to boot, I get the welcome message OK, just when it continues that it fails.
Factory reset still results in a firmware error message.
Currently, it is a brick - is it worth trying an older version 3 firmware, more similar to what it would have originally been shipped with? (and if so, where can I find one?)
At least then I could start over with a known working device and try firmware updates incrementally.
