Unable to connect to ReadyNAS Admin page
Hello and Merry Christmas.
I recently installed SABnzbd and couchpotato, and a few days in... they went offline. Now I can't connect to the main Admin page either. I get that splash screen with the progress bar, and then the "admin page is offline" message. I've looked for a solution here, but couldn't find anything. This has been going on for a couple of days.
I've tried to access from different broswers, but get same timeout. RAIDar can't find the device either. The power light is on and the IP address on the display reads what it usually reads. Data is 44% free, according to the display. I think I'm on version 6.5.1.
I've got both NIC's plugged in, and notice the admin page redirects from the IP I use, to the second IP (when it displays the "offline" error).
I CAN see the "surveillance" cameras from the App on my iPhone, and the "surveillance" webpage also seems to load, but is veery veery slooow (10 mins?)
Any thoughts please? I'm a bit worried about rebooting, so haven't done that yet.
Thanking you!!!
Tony
Hi Jen, yes that's correct. And yes, they are on the same network. This was all working fine until I installed a couple more apps onto the NAS recently.
When I press the power button, the display screen remains blank. I've tried this several times over the past few days.
The NIC link lights were green, but the other lights (orange?) were off. I think this means no network traffic?
So I decided to reboot my Dell ethernet switch. When I did this, the display jumped to life with "no IP address" (or something to that effect). And then when I looked again a few minutes later, the power button was flashing and the display reads "powering off goodbye". It's been like that for 15 minutes now, so I assume it's stuck?

Hello twc,
Can you still access the shares via the NAS IP? You may try both.
Please also remove one of the LAN cables and focus on just one, I guess you can stay with the one working with the cameras.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've just gone to unplug one of the LAN cables and found that even the surveillence app is not responding now.
The activity light is still flashing away, the power button does nothing (display remains blank), and the network shares are not accessible.
Thoughts please?
Thanking you.
