Unable to Sych NAS and access some folders

Well, if the system encounters file system errors, it will put the volume into read-only status on it's own (to protect your data).
If the NAS has a new IP address as a result of the router change, then it is also possible that this is a windows credential issue. So you could try going in the Windows Credential Manager. Delete any existing credentials for the NAS and create new ones.

The share name is DELL-PC-Desktop?
Have you looked in the admin web ui? Start by looking in the log for errors. I'm wondering if your volume is in read-only mode. The LCD panel might also give you some info.

yes I use such a name. Don't know how it surfaced.
Don't think it is read-only mode. The only think I have done whne this issue cropped up was that I had my router changed. Otherwise, I haven't touched anything.

I will try but before touching anything I am backing up everything elsewhere since I cannot afford to loose some or all my data prior to touching anything. Thanks for your support. Will return once I would try to solve the issue.
