Unable to update Readynas Pro 6 to OS6
Hi Everyone I recently pickep a ReadyNas Pro 6 RNDO6000-100. I have already updated it to 4.2.4 and also update the bios Now here is my issue whenever installed the prepfile for os6 addon...

If the conversion still isn't working, then try installing 4.2.31 manually first.

Not sure when 4.2.4 was released, but it was certainly before 2009.

FWIW, I do recommend installing 2 (maybe 4) GB of RAM with OS-6. Note most 4 GB sticks are not compatible, and also tend to be very expensive. So 2x1 GB or 2x2GB is a better option.

I think i am already at 4gb of ram.
im having another where it wont allow me to create a share.

It would be useful to know for sure, since there are some folks who have had odd behavior due to insufficient RAM
