Unrar files on readynas

Can you describe in more detail what you are doing? There are so many possibilities with what you said I don't think we can form a coherent response. Are you using a windows unrar program and opening a .rar file and trying to send the extracted output to a share on the nas? How did you mount the share? Did you create a user on the NAS and connect to the share using that user name? I may be way off the mark, hence the need for more details :-).
