Update from 6.7.5 to 6.9.0 not rebooting or shutting down
Just updated a new (currently not production) 626 from 6.7.5 to 6.9.0 and after using the web application to upload the firmware the unit requested permission to reboot "Firmware version 6.9.0 was up...

Not yet, was checking to see if anyone wanted me to look around the unit before I did anything more drastic.
My plan is to try the graceful shutdown via the power switch (press power button 3 times)
If that does not work, hold the power button until the machine powers off and then power back on
If that does not work, pull the plug
As of this morning it still had the "Rebooting, See you soon..." on the front panel.
I'll report back with the result and what the status of the box is after these attempts.

Three presses of power switch resulted in the front panel stuck at "shutting down goodby" and not being able to get in at the web interface.
Forced power cycle did result in the firmware update being applied.

However, if I go into the web interface and issue a shutdown command it gets stuck at "Powering Off, Goodby"
Power cycling the unit manually does recover operation.
I have not installed any apps on this unit, it is a "fresh out of the box" install. The only thing which has been done to it is enabling SSH.

Have you reviewed the logs around the reboot times looking for clues?

How full is the 4GB root volume? The root volume appears to be fine.
I am seeing some issues with the BTRFS file system which I will upload.
There are two seperate volumes in the machine (i.e. one - 10TB drive and one - 3TB drive) I told the unit to make the 3TB drive ready for removal and it appeared to work. However, when I powered down the box, removed the drive, and then powered back up the remaining 10TB drive is stuck at abouy 85% complete on the file check.
I suspect that I will need to do a clean install to recover at this point. Assuming it comes up completely I will download the logs and look through them. I do have a download of the logs from just after applying the 6.9.0 firmware but before the forced power down. I will cut and paste some of the odd results from that log into this thread.
I had tried to remove one of the ReadyDR shares which did not work. Luckily this is the backup machine and so rebuilding the server is not a significant issue.
