Update to FW 6.6.0 all Services Offline Error 15002020817
After Updateing my Readynas 516 to FW 6.6.0 all Services are offline. I'm not able to activate them. It shows up the following error Model: ReadyNAS 516 Firmware: 6.6.0 Context: system_panel_suppo...
Finally I did a factory reset... all good now
Can you download the logs using RAIDar 6.1 then send them in (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
It seems you've got a number of apps on this system. Which apps do you have installed?
It also appears that you don't have SSH enabled.
You said above that you don't have a backup. This normally implies that the data isn't important.
Yet you said a factory reset is not an option which would imply that the data is important.
I do have the following apps installed
Plex - it is still working
Plexpy - installed but not active at the moment
DVBLink TV Server - installed but not active at the moment
PHP - installed (not sure if I need that...)
Over the years there have been a few apps installed and uninstalled... but the above mentioned apps are important for me.
No SSH is not enabled and I'm not able to enable the SSH... It will show up the same error mentioned above as soon as I try.
Just now I'm on backing up my important files. Of course all files are important otherwise i would not store them on my nas ;-)
So that means that you recommend a complete reset of the unit? Will that delete really everything? Like a new machine? The only annoying thing is that I have the set up Plex Media Server new. And that storing and restoring takes ages...
Important data should be backed up regularly no matter which device it is on.
