Updating Readynas Pro to Latest Firmware
I am currently running OS 6.6.1 on a legacy readynas Pro 6. When I do a check for updates it tells me that I am already running the latest firmware even through firmware viersion 6.7.1 is available....

Do I need to do a manual update of the firmware to get 6.7.1 installed?
Netgear always starts by releasing the firmware for manual installation first, and then posts it to the update server in a week or so.
You can either install it manually now or you can wait for it to show up in check-for-updates.

I got a automatic notice when I logged into my NAS516 and my NAS628.
When I logged into my NASPRO I did not get a notice.
Even when I selected update firmware it said I was already running the latest firmware which was 6.6.1.
I thought that the legacy NAS units that were running firmware 6 and above were supposed to update the same as newer NAS units.
I guess not.
