The download links are in the Release Notes
For x86_64 units (including all legacy x86 units that are running OS6) you would use the x86 download link.
We also have ReadyNASOS 6.5.2-T486 (Beta 1) firmware but there are no changes related to fans in the Release Notes so there may not be any changes related to that.

I have an Ultra 6. I upgraded this yesterday to 6.5.1 and encountered the same fan problems.
So I downgraded it to 6.5.0 and all works fine.
Today I upgraded to 6.5.2-T486 (Beta 1).
The fan behaviour is the same as under 6.5.1.
I.e. speeding up and immediately slowing down, speeding up, slowing down etc.

my pro6 with xeon x3230 is running with 6.5.2 beta 1 with fans at "balanced" setting
no prob just once with internal fan speed below threshold (479rpm)and it corrected immediately to higher rotation speed
