USB drives that work with RN104 & firmware 6.4.1 +
Anyone know which USB drives work properly with RN104 & firmware 6.4.1 and up. (Also if you know of one that doesn't work.) I need to replace my USB backup drive, a Seagate GoFlex with USB 3.0 which ...

Moving the Go Flex drive to the rear USB port did NOT work. It still locks up the RN104 (I have to remove power to reboot it) and it locked up the Backup program (light still blinking and no backups showing on the Backup page of the Admin Page. Since it worked fine on the 6.2.4 firmware even on the front USB port I can't understand what has changed. If only I could return to 6.2.4. By the way I am running 6.4.2T72 now and the USB file system is NTFS. I have no APPS running and the folowing Services: CIFS, AFP, UPnP, and ReadyDLNA. Also I can successfully run the same backup to an old 250GB SimpleTech portable USB drive. (it's starting to show some errors so I can't trust it as a backup device)
Here is a link to what we have done to diagnose the problemm so far.

Hi RonSchmiege,
Since both posts were quite similar and related, I suggest that you close the other one and we'll continue working on this one. I will keep you posted and see what can I find.
Kind regards,

OK I can't figure out how to close the other topic. The only thing I can find is the button to "Accept as Solution" but the problem is not solved.

There is no way for you to actually "close it" (not even sure exactly what Brian means by that). "Accept as Solution" would still allow people to post to the thread - all it does is mark the topic as "answered". Since it isn't answered, there's no reason to do that.
I can lock it, but I think its enough for you to simply stop using it.
