usb printer stopped working
When I setup my readynas duo a couple of weeks back, it found the canon i850 and everything printed fine from my laptop - painfully slow, but fine.
Now, suddenly, nothing. No warning message on the laptop, just nothing.
I reboot the readynas - no change.
I delete and reinstall the printer on my laptop. THIS time it says it has the wrong driver. So, in vista, I choose "next" and click on the driver for my printer. Back to square one.
I plug the printer direct into the laptop and print from there: no problem.
Any clues? So far nearly everything I've tried on this rather expensive nas product has been disappointing or frustrating...

When I tried to reinstall the printer I did so via Control Panel "add network printer".
After I rebooted the laptop, I then went to browse from Raidar and double clicked on the printer icon there to configure it. I was still told that the driver was incorrect, and had to search windows for the right dirver, but now it works...
Ho hum.
