Veeam Backup 7 - connection to netw. share lost while Backup
Hello ,
The Problem is as followed :
I use an Backup Programm ( Veeam Backup ) on an W2008 R2 Server to Backup in the night at least 600 GB of Data ( virtual Machines ) to an Netgear Ready NAS Pro 6 .
The Backups failed with the Reason "Error: Client error: the network Name is no longer available. Error code: 64 Failed to read data from the file \\192.168.200.251\veeam-backup\" This error comes at different Times, on time after 10 minutes, one time after 5 minutes and so on. The Ready NAS is direct connected on the Server Switch.
When we try the same kind of Backup to an Share on an QNAP TS-459 who is also on this Switch, the Backup runs perfectly.
When we configure an ISCSI LUN on the Ready NAS Pro 6 , and we connected the LUN via the Windows ISCSI Initiator to my Backup Server an then we Backup to the new ISCSI Harddisk all works fine. The Problem is only when Try to Backup on an Ready NAS Share, the while the Backup is running the connection to the share is going lost.
BUT : the Target is to backup the Backups from the Netgear Ready NAS to an external USB Drive on Weekends . And this is only possible with Datas in an Share and not with an ISCSI LUN .
The Newest Firmware ist installed.
Thanks for Suggestions
Michael
