very slow install (resync
Hi I am new user of a ReadyNAS NV+ V2 4bay's I have done the installation and have 2 3TB HHD. now the nas is running resync and it's telling me it' will take about 8 hours. how can it take so long ...
Syncing occurs at a lower level than the filesystem. The sectors need to be synced sector by sector to setup the RAID. The larger the capacity of the disks the longer the resync will take (all else being equal).
