Vista Home Premium/Duo V2 - mapped connection dropping

So, I wanted to update where I am--which, in a nutshell, is no better off than before.
Over in the Trend Micro forums a TM employee, Ken, recommended renaming a TM registry entry so that it would be re-created on reboot.

That didn't help and doing it a second time per his suggestion didn't either.
So, where I am on this is I plan to connect a Windows 7 laptop to the router by cable and see if it has the same problems. If it does, I'll know it's not specific to Vista, but likely is the way Trend Micro (also on the Win7 machine) interacts with the firewall. On the other hand, if no problems and all good, I assume there is no problem installing RAIDar on that machine and using it to manage the NAS when needed?
