Volume 'data' is Degraded after adding hdd

Hi guys
i am currently using a readynas 316 (older model) which i upgraded firmware on to 6.1.9 about 12 months ago
it has two wd 4tb red nas drives installed and is set in x-raid

It was running fine but yesterday i bought two more wd red 4tb drives to expand it as i was running short on space
I put one of the new drives in slot 3 and it started to rebuild but then after a few hrs the led screen on the nas started to blink and say degraded, i let it run for 24hrs until it had finished rebuilding but it still says degraded

The storage capacity has increased from 3.6tb to 7.27 but the drive in bay 3 is not showing up on the Volumes page ( It was showing up as black when it first started rebuilding)



I was wondering if i should put the other new drive in slot 4 and see if that fixes it?
