Wake-On-LAN: Anybody Got It Working?

Last time I tested WOL, my NAS turned on fine, but I hosed my network. It turns out my DirecTV receiver does not like magic packets and until I power it off/on, it was causing the whole network to go down. Maybe in the future I'll get a smart ethernet switch and filter magic packets to the receiver, but for now, no WOL here. :-(
