Hi Guys,
a few days ago i got my new android smartphone and want to use WoL on my ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus with Radiator 4.2.19 to start the NAS outoff bed.
As decribet in this thread, nothing realy good things happen...
Then I remembered the same WoL Problem on my Debian 4 driven VDR.
The Solution was quit simple, so there is a German Wiki where to read: http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Debian_-_WAKE_ON_LAN
As quike simple as short: (you have to use an SSH-Login to edit the things)
In /etc/init.d/halt replace NETDOWN=yes to NETDOWN=no
That does the job for me...
PS: On Android i use the app WoL, Wake on Lan Wan, ver.3.9.0
I have to use the Option "send as broadcast" to work properly.
