Netgear says otherwise: https://kb.netgear.com/de/22106/Wie-aktiviere-ich-Wake-on-LAN-auf-dem-ReadyNAS-der-Serie-Ultra-Ultra-Plus-NVX-Pioneer-oder-Pro-Pioneer
"Das ReadyNAS-System unterstützt Wake-on-LAN nur am ersten Netzwerkanschluss (LAN 1)" which translates to "The ReadyNAS system supports wake-on-LAN only on the first network port (LAN 1)".
Wake-on-Lan requires bios support in addition to support on the NIC itself.
Unfortunately Netgear has removed many of the older kb articles (including the english version of this one).

Look in bios_settings.log (in the log zip file) and post the date of your bios.

AFAIK there is no bios available that will make eth1 wol work. Hopefully mdgm-ntgr or another Netgear mod will chime in.

Both ethX are:
Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8057 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 10)
I dont get why 1st one works and second one doesnt.
