Why need to press "OK" or "Backup" button to discover
Hi,
How come when I go to http://readynas/netgear.com (without Signing in) to access my ReadyNAS, it can't discover the ReadyNAS?
It told me to press and hold the OK or Backup button for 5 seconds.
However, without pressing the button for 5 seconds, if I sign in, then I am able to see my ReadyNAS.
Is there a setting that I missed?

- Your URL is garbled; I think you must be talking about ReadyCloud.
You aren't missing any setting. There really isn't much need to discover the NAS after you have ReadyCloud set up.
If you are home, just go to https://nasname/admin or use RAIDar 6.0
