Windows 10 cannot see shares in READYNAS DUO v1
Hello,
I already read lot of posts and could not figure out how to fix this issue in my home configuration.
Raidar does discovers the NAS.
I see the NAS on explorer but only works with DLNA services.
Tryed creation of credentials on windows for the share.
Tryed matching workgroup on NAS with the one on laptop and creation on NAS of user/password mathing windows.
Tried configuring share on CMD with net use.
I cannot see shares:
"System error 64 has occurred.
The specified network name is no longer available."
It is a corporate laptop, hence I am using my corporate login/password in corporate windows 10 as well corporate workgroup.
It is also Duo V1 running FW:4.1.16
I can see the NAS share in another windows 10 machine of my wife.
With the problematic windows 10 machine I can access shares created in other windows7 machine.
Any hint?
This I just found in another post fixed my case:
"
Try going into the windows control panel, and select "programs and features" followed by "turn windows features on or off".
You should see a checkbox for "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support". If it isn't checked, then check it. I think you will need admin privileges for this btw.
"
I had already installed SMB pack in windows and thought it was enough. After all I also needed to enable "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" feature.
