I am running Windows 7 64 Home Premium. secpol.msc is not a recognised program or command from the run menu or the command prompt.
Is there an alternative solution?

If you have administrative rights to your computer, your can go to the Control Panel --> System and Security --> Administrative Tools --> Local Security Policy --> Security Options --> LAN Manager authentication level. If you enter that, you will get a drop down box to make your change. I cannot vouch for the change that was suggested. Mine says not defined and I am having trouble with permissions. Obviously YMMV on the change that was suggested.
