Hmmm, nice answer but that wasn't really one of the selling points of this device. Maybe I missed the small print about owning W7 Professional to be able to perform 'basic' file and permission management. Still hoping for a simple answer otherwise I'll be asking Mr. Amazon very nicely for a refund.
