Ok. I am not sure if your symptom is a password prompt when you first attempt to access the share, or if it is something else.

Assuming it is a simple password prompt when you access the share itself:

Whenever you access a share, Windows first presents the logon credentials. If it doesn't know them, it will present the logon/password you used to log into the PC. If it was told to remember them, it generally will reuse what it was told. On the ReadyNAS side, if the logon user name is configured in the ReadyNAS, the ReadyNAS needs the corresponding password. If it gets a different password, then it will deny access (even if "everyone" access is set to read/write).

The reason I said "...it generally will reuse what it was told..." is that with admin in particular there is a bug in Windows (at least in Vista 64). If the logon is admin, and you check "remember", it will work until you reboot the PC. Then it will ask again. The only way I know to work around that problem is to reset the PC admin passwords so they match the ReadyNAS.

(BTW, There is a credentials control applet, where you can try to configure NASNAME\admin as the logon for the share, I have not had any luck with it).

If you are getting access to the share, but having a problem when you access a subfolder or a file witin the share:

Log in into FrontView, navigate to the share listing and select the CIFS icon.

Scroll down until you see Advanced CIFS Permission

check the box next to Automatically set permissions on new files and folders.

Set the Group and everyone rights to "read/write" in the "When new files are created over CIFS..." section.

Set the Group and everyone rights to "read/write" in the "When new folders are created over CIFS..." section.

Click Apply.

If any of the settings were changed in the above procedure, then select the "advanced options" tab and do the ownership/permissions update one more time.
