Please add Circle to the R9000 Nighthawk X10 AD7200 Quad-Stream Wireless Router. I selected the R9000 because it had enough hardwired ports to connect to my existing wired network and the 2Gbps port agregation was a bonus for connecting to my Netgear ReadyNAS. However, for some reason NetGear has decided to abandon those who purchased their flagship Nighthawk router and are offering Circle only on there less expensive models. Also, just to add some confusion, if you go to the R9000 product page, there are references to Circle on the page under parental controls!

What NETGEAR routers support Circle with Disney? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
It isn't obvious from there that the R9000 ever supported Circle with Disney.
The best way to get more ports is to choose a router that has the features you want and then to buy an inexpensive switch.

My network already has multiple switches in multiple locations. Those switches each tie back to this router. To keep latency down I try to never have the switches connected more than two deep, this is an OLD rule of thumb that really isn't applicable anymore, but, I still try to keep the daisy chain of switches to a minimum.

Please add support for circle to this router.

If you add Circle support for the R9000, I may go buy another one. I returned the last one.

Is there a plan to add R9000 to the supported routers list of Circle?!
Just let us know.

Here's what kills me. This is just code. Even if there's not enough room on the router to host both Plex and Circle, give us the option of firmware with Circle and no Plex or Plex and no Circle. I understand that there may be some issues compiling the Circle code if the processor is different, but there's no road blocks other than time.

YES! Please add circle. I went from an Asus AC3100 Wifi Gig Router to a NIghthawk X10 R9000 in order to make the most of the Gig speed we pay for. Asus had parental controls in it that were awesome. I could break it down by each use (i.e. teenager) and make separate allowed times for access. I could do this all by the app and remotely as well. I coupled that with AT&T parental controls Smart Limits and had a pretty good hold on my children's useage. Now I am seriously considering forgetting about speed and buying another ASUS. Netgear needs to up their game to help parents out here.
OMG, Really?
I just purchased 6 of these R9000 AD7200 routers (the top of the line), and stupidly assumed that, of course, it will fully support Circle! Because Netgear makes a good router and Circle has been supported in several of the ones we use.
Makes zero sense.
Circle is more valuable then Plex.
Is this going to happen? I'm going to return them if not.

I decided today to send the R9000 AD7200 router back. The limited parental controls are laughable. No way to allot time to individual users. Have to "bypass" in order to even try to do so. Can simply allow a device on or off on the network. Really confusing. I went back to Asus. Bought the top of the line ROG Rapture GT-5300. It is their gaming router. I did speed tests repeatedly througout my house. The R9000 was a tad better on my Giga-speed Comcast network, but not enough to endure not having access to easier parental controls. Asus allows through "Game IPS" to add individual users then block adult content, messaging, streaming, etc. Then it allows you to also set time limits from 1 hour to 24 hour 7 days a week. Asus Router app allows me to quicky change any of those settings once set up. If a kid is out of line and hours are taken away, I can have that done in 20 seconds, much to my kids' chagrin. So, sorry Netgear. You slightly ourrank in speed, but not enough to endure the lack of easy parental controls.
I will give NETGEAR props though for their extender :
If you have a serious deadspot as we do in the corner of our basement where there is an occupied bedroom, this is expensive, but worth it. I clocked speeds of 650Mbsp download in that bedroom now with Netgear router R9000, and 580-600Mbsp on the new Asus 5300 that I am keeping. With Asus mesh setting, it may get even better, but I doubt it. We'll see. - OMXPAspirant
