Please implement a wireless scheduler, whereby wireless access can be turned on or off at certain times. I bought and installed a new Orbi system today and was shocked to see that this isn't available. It's available in the stock/free modem/router combo from Spectrum, as well as most other wireless routers. I want to be able to turn off the wireless radios when my family is sleeping. I understand from the forums that this has been suggested many times and NETGEAR has said it will be worked into the firmware.

In a health concious world the ability for owners to disable wifi/RF emissions over night or as they see fit is a sad feature for Netgear to have missed or worst still it seems removed as I beleive a wifi scheduling feature was available in previous Orbi firmware releases?
Netgear please add this feature and make parents and people happy they can reduce RF emissions within their homes as they see fit !!

Same boat with a new RAX80 router. The lack of what should be basic features especially on a $200+ router is baffling. It's going back.

Wrong comment, my bad

Any news on this feature. I bought without realising this didn’t have a scheduler for WiFi as all my previous routers have had this, I would have thought this to be an entirely standard feature

Also curious if there is an update on this matter. I have a wired backhaul so disabeling the antennas by schedule shouldn't be a problem.

Agree too, I bought this system yesterday and was shocked to see no scheduling. Especially when you are already far too much bathed in waves of any sort, I would love to suspend them during night.
Looking for other system that contains this feature, hope you will do something for it

Come on. Get it done.

Yall were over thinking it. Just set the scheduler to disable the radios. Who cares if the sats lose timing ... they will check in and if they cant peer, they can check every 5 min. The sats still have power and a 24 hour timer wont lose time. If they lose power, then tell the base router to build the mesh, set the timer and then go back to sleep. Still better than never getting the feature. :)
May resort to the old RF blocking router blanket :/

Satellite(s) can be in recieve (listen) only mode only and router can send a "wake" signal on the (pre)set time, same as it can send a "sleep" signal at the other preset time. No continous wireless backhaul required. It can reestablish the wireless backhaul afther the radios are activated (permit transmitting again) based on the "wake" signal.

Another vote for this. Have utilised the ability to turn off WiFi broadcasts overnight on previous routers, and would appreciate the ability to do likewise on the Orbi.
