Access point not obtaining an IP address
Model: WAC124 Firmware 1.0.4.6, OS Win 10 Pro
I am attempting to set up a guest network on Netgear-2 (I have renamed it). Netgear-1 works fine. Netgear 2 will not obtain an IP address. I have a fortinet router and have configured NG to act as a wireless access point. Nothing else is physically connected to the NG. If I disable "allow access to wired ports,"" it will not obtain the IP address. If I enable that setting then it works. But if I do that, a device connected to Netgear 2 can ping the office computers, –that is what I want to prevent. Netgear 3 does not have that setting. But also will not obtain an IP address.

To start with, please install the current firmware https://www.netgear.com/support/product/wac124.aspx#download - 1.0.4.7 as of writing.
Then consult AC2000 802.11ac Wireless Access Point/Router WAC124 User Manual p.67 ff. "Manage client isolation for a single WiFi
network" - here you find the controls to disable (for your normal work SSID) resp. enable the isolation by SSID.
